About us
Design 2AM is a cutting-edge product design studio specializing in additive manufacturing. The name stands for “Design to Additive Manufacturing,” reflecting our seamless approach to taking ideas from concept to reality through 3D printing. The “2AM” in our name represents more than just a time, it symbolizes the hour of deep creativity, relentless innovation, and problem-solving when breakthrough ideas are born.

Vision
“To become a catalyst for meaningful design by turning late-night ideas into real-world impact, crafting products and experiences that are thoughtful, sustainable, and deeply human.”
Mission
“At Design2am, we design with intention and curiosity, bringing together diverse minds to create sustainable products, experiences, and systems. We aim to blur the boundaries between creativity and practicality, always staying grounded in empathy, experimentation, and collaboration.”
Our story
They say nothing good happens after midnight, but I disagree. Design2am began when sleep became optional and curiosity became unstoppable. It was one of those nights: coffee gone cold, tabs overflowing with inspiration, and a half-baked idea itching to become real. While the world hit pause, my mind hit play. That’s when I realized, design isn’t just a job, it’s a rhythm. And mine played loudest at 2am. So I built a space for that energy. A studio shaped not by rules but by restlessness. A place where questions are louder than answers, where ideas stretch beyond deadlines, and where every product is designed with heart, intention, and just a little bit of chaos. Design2am isn’t just a name it’s a timestamp on every breakthrough that happened when everyone else was asleep.
Meet Rachana,
Hi! I’m Rachana Mane, a name that literally means creation. I’m a graduate in B.Des Product Design, and if there’s one thing that has stayed constant throughout my life, it’s my love for hands-on work. From crafting with scraps as a kid to now designing functional, meaningful products, the journey has been nothing short of exciting. What draws me to product design is its perfect blend of creativity and technicality. It’s not just about making things look good, but also about solving real problems, and that excites me the most. Diving into the world of 3D printing and learning about it was something completely new to me, but the challenge was refreshing and I truly enjoyed every part of the process.
